Tuesday’s accident on the airport road left the wife dead, the husband in critical condition.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A fatal crash on Airport Road in Boca Raton left an elderly woman dead and her husband in critical condition Tuesday afternoon. BocaNewsNow.com was the first to report the crash shortly after it happened around 2:30 p.m. near Airport Road and Glades Road. Boca Raton police released the names of those involved in the crash Thursday.

Rachelle Ebner, 81, died and her husband, Jerrold, 80, was critically injured. Police say Rachelle, driving a 2014 Toyota Camry, was driving northbound in the southbound lanes of Airport Road. Rachelle hit a Jeep driven by Donald Kline, 55, of Delray Beach. He suffered minor injuries.

Police are asking anyone with information about the crash to contact Traffic Homicide Investigator Reyson Felix at 561-620-6163. The Palm Beach County Property Assessor lists an address in Century Village Boca Raton for Rachelle and Jerrold.
