The Kansas City Chiefs may be on their way to an undefeated season, but Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce maybe they lost their peace of mind.

The quarterback and tight end’s homes were broken into in early October.

Conformable local station KCTV in Leawood, Kansas, a call was made to what was previously reported to be Kelce’s home for an alleged burglary. Then TMZ He later discovered that the robbery took place on October 7th, conveniently right after Monday Night Football that week at Arrowhead Stadium, when the Chiefs defeated the New Orleans Saints.

The 7:33pm break-in resulted in the thieves making off with $20,000 in cash and destroying Kelce’s back door in the process.

Safety has been key for Kelce since he was elevated from a Super Bowl-winning tight end to meeting Taylor Swiftone of the biggest pop stars in the world.

Kelce previously spoke on his podcast about the onslaught of emails he’s been receiving since the relationship went public and someone posted his home online. It escalated right to him visiting the local post office to complain, and when his brother Jason spoke to Shaq The Big Podcasthe revealed that the attention has become so outrageous that he had to move.

Patrick Mahomes’ partner isn’t Swift-level famous, but his association and status as the league’s leading quarterback trying to make his first Super Bowl trip makes him pretty sought after, too.

KCTV reports that the break-in happened around midnight on October 6 at Mahomes’ Belton, Missouri mansion, complete with a lake, pool and soccer field.

As police continue to investigate both robberies, it is unknown if anything was taken from Mahomes’ home. Still, QB1 talked about how disheartening it was at a Chiefs press conference Wednesday.

“It’s frustrating. It’s disappointing,” the 29-year-old told the media. “I can’t go into too much detail because the investigation is still ongoing in progress.”

Apparently the FBI did become involved in solving crimes, not because they involve A-Listers, but because they might point to a much larger burglary ring.
