Legal drama will be at the fore during Thursday’s reunion episode, with Alexis choosing to defend her fiance for his role in the process.

During Us’ Episode Preview Shannon claims that Alexis brought up the DUI arrest videos to their group, which is why she felt John was trying to blackmail her for more money. Alexis, however, denies starting anything.

Alexis claims at the reunion that she “brought it up then because we were in a weak moment.” She confesses, “It shouldn’t have been brought up.” She also claims that “John never talked about it. So there is no extortion.”

Katie, however, notes under her breath, “But he was brought on camera.”

Alexis insists that the mention of the videos was originally due to Shannon herself, which is why John did not accept Shannon’s $70,000 offer or sign a mutual non-disparagement agreement.
