Travis Kelce wipes out Kansas City Chiefs teammate Chris Jones in practice prank

While preparing for their mega-AFC matchup on Sunday against the Buffalo Bills, Travis Kelce decided to take a moment to take down teammate Chris Jones in a prank during Wednesday’s practice.

Inside the Kansas City Chiefs’ indoor practice facility, Kelce runs from more than a dozen yards away from Jones to pounce on him.

Kelce goes up in the air and pretends the defensive backboard is a basketball rim and dives on it.

Jones fell to the court during the prank uninjured, while Kelce celebrated the slam with a taunt and a dance.

Several teammates carried Jones off the field, including Kelce, with both men laughing about the situation immediately afterward.

Kelce and Jones, along with quarterback Patrick Mahomes, could be the Chiefs’ top three players.

Both Jones and Kelce have been integral to the team’s current 15-game winning streak, including a 9-0 mark this season.

The Chiefs return to Highmark Stadium, where they were victorious in last season’s AFC Divisional round, for perhaps their toughest test of the season.

Kansas City’s current winning streak has been hanging on for a few straight this season, most notably needing a blocked field goal late in last week’s game against the Denver Broncos to remain unblemished in 2024.

Kelce himself has increased his production in recent weeks, but still has just two touchdowns this season. His teammates seem unconcerned by the few negative points at the start of the campaign.

Jones was his usual self, wreaking havoc in the middle of Kansas City’s defensive line.
