The “Day of the Jackal” star shares two children with his wife, Hannah Bagshawe

Eddie Redmayne is the proud father of two children: Iris and Luke.

The Les Miserables the actor and his wife Hannah Bagshawe became parents for the first time when they welcomed daughter Iris in June 2016. Their second child, son Luke, was born in March 2018.

A few months earlier, Redmayne confirmed that his wife was expecting their first child on the Oscars red carpet. “I’m trying to keep her hydrated. Shortly after the birth of Iris, the actor revealed during an appearance at The Ellen DeGeneres Show that the baby arrived two weeks after the due date. “Iris came into the world and I spoke to her sternly,” he joked in November 2016.

“They didn’t come to see the show, but I’m thinking of trying to sneak them to the ‘Willkommen’ watch,” he said. “Because they were part of this journey for me, my children.”
