The long shadow of the 2015 Paris terror attacks

A convoy of three rental cars left Charleroi, Belgium, and crossed into France, heading for Paris. They transported ten jihadists on a mission to spread terror in the French capital – and capture the world’s attention. On Friday, November 13, 2015, wearing suicide jackets and heavily armed, they killed 130 people and injured hundreds more at three places in Paris: Bataclan music hall, terrace cafes nearby and outside the national stadium, Stade de France. It was the deadliest attack on French soil since World War II.
