The land ministry has issued a notification stating that field level employees will not continue in the same job, position or department for three years.

The ministry issued the circular yesterday (November 13) regarding the transfer of employees of the Land Revenue Administration and Land Records and Surveying Department at the union, upazila, district and division levels who have been at the same job for more than three years .

According to the referral, it is essential to ensure uninterrupted, people-friendly and harassment-free land services for all citizens.

“To this end, the interim government has taken various steps to modernize land management and simplify the service delivery system. These services are provided through government employees,” the statement said.

It is observed that some employees have been working at the same job for a long time.

In order to establish transparency, efficiency and accountability in field services at the field level avoiding public suffering and harassment, the ministry felt that the transfer of employees (classes 10th to 20th) working at the same job for a long time from now. job at another will be adequate.

In addition, the circular also stated that employees of the Department of Land Revenue Administration and Land Records and Survey at the union, upazila, district and division levels under the ministry, who have been working for a long time at the same workplace, must follow four guidelines when transferring from one job to another.

The guidelines include providing opportunities for employees of the Land Revenue Administration and the Department of Land Records and Field Surveys to work at all levels in phases.

If an employee has been transferred to another place or between districts before the scheduled time due to physical illness or decline in moral integrity or any specific or logical reason, then the Deputy Commissioner and, as the case may be, the Divisional Commissioner must submit a report behind the transfer reason. to the Ministry of Lands as soon as possible.
