WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – A Pittsburg man died Tuesday in a motorcycle accident in Neosho County.

The crash occurred at 1:38 p.m. on U-59, approximately 3.5 miles south of K-47.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol crash log, 42-year-old Brandon Eastwood was driving a 2014 Victory motorcycle on U59. As he passed another southbound vehicle and re-entered the southbound lane, he lost control for an unknown reason.

Eastwood was thrown from the motorcycle. He was taken to hospital where he died from his injuries.

Eastwood was wearing eye protection but no helmet, according to the crash log.
