  • Long press per message
  • A pop-up menu will appear; touch Edit.
  • Adjust the text as needed

  • You have 15 minutes after sending a message to edit it.
  • You can edit the same message up to five times.
  • The recipient will see an “Edited” label on any modified messages, allowing them to see the original text if they choose.

  • Just like editing, start by opening The messaging app and finding the message.
  • Long press per message
  • In the pop-up menu, choose Cancel the send
  • The message will disappear both on your device and on the recipient’s screen.
