The Golden State Warriors have officially announced the league again.

Opposing teams should be worried because with the way the Warriors have been playing, it doesn’t look like the dynasty is over just yet. After their thrilling win over the Mavericks on Tuesday, they sit atop the Western Conference standings at 9-2.

Hang on to your defense hat

Although the Warriors have been synonymous with Stephen Curry’s offensive explosions and scoring bursts (see the end of the Mavericks game), their championship teams have been all about defense. Every year the Warriors have reached the NBA Finals without Kevin Durant, they’ve been at least a top-six defense. During the 2021-2022 NBA Finals, they had the second best defense in the league with a defensive rating of 106.6.
