Margot Robbie has a really funny story about how she brought tears to her eyes in a scene for The Wolf of Wall Street opposite Leonardo Dicaprio.

Margot played Leo’s love interest and then wife in the film. The film was a huge commercial success and critics applauded the actors for their acting skills in a film that tested them to the limit.

When asked during a yet-to-be-released episode of Talking Pictures: A Movie Memories Podcast, Margot explained that she was listening to the title track of another of Leo’s movies Titanicto feel like crying.

She told the podcaster: “I can even hear the Titanic theme song and I’ll scream. And that’s what I do on set if I have to cry in a scene.” The episode will be released on November 26.

She went on to explain one of the cases that became too “surreal” for her as she heard Titanic she followed when she saw Leonardo and Kate Winslet walk past her. Leo and Kate starred in the James Cameron film about the real-life Titanic that sank on its maiden voyage.

She told the podcaster: “On ‘Wolf of Wall Street,’ it was the big, crazy scene after I filed for divorce and stuff. And Kate Winslet came to visit the set, to visit Leo (DiCaprio) that day. I was in the room next to them, listening to the “Titanic” soundtrack, trying to stay in a sad, tearful way. And then I saw Kate Winslet and Leo walking by. It was very surreal.”

Margot Robbie also detailed her acting prowess on the podcast from Host of Turner Classic Movies Ben Mankiewicz and Warner Bros. Discovery. The series has been renewed for a comedy-focused second season, with future guests also including Bill Murray, Carol Burnett, Jane Lynch and JB Smoove. The same was exclusively reported by Variety.
