DISCUSSION:

As forecast, we had a front force through Eastern Kentucky that dropped temperatures with highs in the upper 50s and 60s, which is where we should be this time of year. It sure felt like autumn today. At the time of this writing, we were 5 to 13 degrees COOLER than yesterday at this time.

YOUR FIRST ALERT: A LOT OF RAIN NEEDED

Rain chances will begin to increase as we head into Wednesday night, lasting through Thursday and exiting into Friday morning. This is ahead of another front moving through that will drop temperatures from the mid-60s on Wednesday back into the mid-to-50s for Thursday and Friday. Some places could see up to 1 inch of rain when all is said and done.
