Five stars Quarterback recruit Julian Lewis is expected to visit Georgia this Saturday as the No. 11 Bulldogs take on No. 6 Tennessee, according to On3. Jake Reuse.

Lewis according to reports committed to USC in August 2023, but continued to visit other programs, including Georgia and Colorado.

Lewis has also been linked to Alabama and Auburn. He was previously linked to Indiana, but apparently recently canceled program visits.

Currently playing for Carrollton High School in Georgia, Lewis is ranked as the No. 1 quarterback. 5 and drafted 31st nationally by 247 Sports composite rankings.

Georgia will also host two other quarterback prospects this weekend, with Cal’s Jaron-Keawe Sagapolute and Ryan Montgomery set to join Lewis in Athens, according to ESPN. Eli Lederman.

Listed at 6-foot-5 and 185 pounds, Lewis posted 2,549 yards for 36 touchdowns and four interceptions while leading his team to a 10-0 record. He was profiled by the 247Sports scout Andrew Ivins as “one of the best passers in the 2025 cycle.”

USC, meanwhile, could turn its recruiting attention to Texas A&M running back Husan Longstreet rather than keep Lewis in the lineup. On the 3rd Scott Schrader recently reported that “USC apparently decided that someone like Longstreet would be a better option.”

Schrader also added that “Colorado looks to be the school to beat for Lewis,” a sentiment echoed by 247Sports’ prediction. Tom Loy that Lewis would return for the Buffaloes.

Georgia could step up its recruiting efforts to shut out Colorado as the Bulldogs prepare to lose starting quarterback Carson Beck to the 2025 NFL Draft. Lewis could still face a challenging road to a starting role, with Montgomery already committed and Gunner Stockton, Ryan Puglisi and Jaden Rashada behind Beck on the current depth chart.

The 2025 class coming out of Georgia is currently ranked No. 3 in the nation by 247 Sports thanks to the additions of Montgomery along with five-star defensive end prospect Elijah Griffin, wide receiver Isaiah Gibson and running back Zayden Walker. Adding Lewis to the fold could allow the Bulldogs to challenge Alabama and Ohio State for one of the top two spots on the roster.
