CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – Cedar Rapids Police are looking for the person who robbed the Wendy’s in the 1300 block of 1st Ave NE at gunpoint and ran away.

It happened on Tuesday at 7:28. Witnesses told police a suspect robbed the fast-food restaurant armed with a handgun.

Police are on the scene and investigating.

Coe College was closed for a short time this morning for the safety of students and staff, but these measures are now being lifted.
