Jesse Watters’ Thanksgiving Day Acknowledgment by Mom Has His Critics Giggling

Fox NewsJesse Watters on Monday released footage of liberals talking about not inviting the president-elect Donald Trump-supporting friends and family on Thanksgiving.

He then revealed, “People take a place in the Watters household. I’m letting you know that I was not invited to my mother’s house for Thanksgiving. Apparently, there wasn’t enough room. She said it was an appointment situation and then at the last second invited me to come on Black Friday. I said no thanks, “I’ll be at Best Buy.”

Critics on social media noted the moment:

A “scheduling situation”

She knew when Thanksgiving was scheduled since last year

I can’t wait to use the “scheduling situation” excuse on my family.

Honestly, who would want that mean canoe for Thanksgiving?

What kind of bastard exposes his mother on national television?

It’s unclear how loving Watters was with his claim about his mother, Democratic voter Anne Watters. But she has a long history of calling out her son’s and his pro-Trump views racist and sexist comments.

When the anchor officially took over the 8pm slot from the fire Tucker Carlson in 2023, he called with some advice. “Don’t jump down conspiracy rabbit holes. We don’t want to lose you and we don’t want lawsuits,” Anne Watters said at the time. “According to the Hippocratic Oath, do no harm. We need you to be kind and respectful.”

“Look for a solution to fanning the flames,” she added, before saying of Trump: “You might encourage that friend of yours in Bedminster to return to his former career in television. Everyone in his audience could wear a red hat, and I’m sure the ratings will go up, though never as high, my dear, as yours did on “Jesse Watters Primetime.”

That really happened. She’s called before, but I think this is the longest Jesse Watters’ mom has ever had. A therapist would have a field day with this one. pic.twitter.com/ZqA6iZ5BCQ

In May, Watters revealed on air that his mother sent him repeated text messages about Trump’s 34 felony convictions in his hush money trial.

“Mom is celebrating. He texted me that he was dancing after the verdict. Dance. And then he went on all day sending me 34, 34, 34 infractions,” Watters said. “She is a grandmother. She is a grandmother. Get it together mom. Oh, God.”
