A 14-year-old boy pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a 91-year-old woman.

Jesse Stone, who was charged with sexual assault and burglary, entered the plea on Thursday, Nov. 7, according to court records, per WCJB.

Stone was arrested in June after the woman called police to report being sexually assaulted at her Florida home near Reddick.

Deputies said the woman woke up around midnight on Sunday, June 9, to find Stone “sneaking around her house,” according to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office. press release.

“In a cruel act of violence, she was beaten and sexually assaulted by the suspect,” the press release said.

In the days following the attack, police said they spoke with the 14-year-old, who told them a neighbor had shot a video of a person wearing a dark T-shirt and shorts jogging in the area the night before, conformable Ocala Star-Bannerciting a police report.

Although the teenager denied it was him in the video, a detective noted he was wearing similar clothing to the person in the video, according to the report Star-Banner.

Stone was later identified “through the collection of DNA evidence,” according to a statement from the sheriff’s office.

Stone confessed to the attack, telling investigators she entered the home through the living room door and watched pornography on her iPad, according to Star-Bannerciting the police report.

The woman said she had spoken to the teenager in the past and considered him “a good boy,” the police report added, according to the report Star-Banner.

“This kind of unimaginable violence is still shocking to me after all my years in law enforcement,” Sheriff Billy Woods said after the arrest. “It was shocking that anyone would commit such an act on a 91-year-old man, but it is truly disturbing when we see the young age of the arrestee.”

Stone is scheduled to be sentenced on Dec. 19, per WESH.
