Navy Rear Admiral to Give Bombshell Testimony to Congress About Underwater UFOs Stalking US Nuclear Subs

A retired rear admiral who served as the Navy’s chief oceanographer will testify before Congress about the dangers of UFOs that appear to cross Earth’s seas with impunity.

Rear Admiral Tim Gallaudet (ret.) has publicly attested in the past to “an interesting correlation (…) where we see so many potential interactions of UAPs (i.e. UFOs) and nuclear ships” – but has never before discussed the issue under oath.

And increasingly, Rear Admiral Gallaudet also voiced the growing concern among military officials that these strange craft apparently possessed “capabilities (…) beyond our current understanding of science, technology and engineering” .

“We need to research them more, understand them better,” as he said this week, “both for the national security implications and just for the science.”

But despite Rear Admiral Gallaudet’s openness on the once-marginal subject of UFOs, the substance of what he plans to reveal Wednesday ahead of the House Oversight Committee’s latest UAP public hearing remains a mystery.

The naval oceanographer did, however, reveal two startling UFO encounters on Monday, as reported to him by Navy personnel before his testimony.

A submariner told Rear Admiral Gallaudet about an encounter a US submarine had with a bizarre underwater object in the 1980s that stopped on a dime while speeding deep under the Atlantic Ocean.

“It had all the signatures of a Russian torpedo,” Rear Admiral Gallaudet said, “because it was approaching at a fast pace. But then it slowed down, which torpedoes don’t do.

Rear Admiral Gallaudet explained that this US Navy submarine – which was traveling “at a greater depth during a very significant storm in the North Atlantic” – carried out evasive maneuvers to escape what its crew initially thought was a Russian torpedo.

“Because of the fast approach speed, they went to ‘crushing depth’. This was their SOP, standard operating procedure,’ the retired rear admiral said NewsNation.

Sometimes known as “collapse depth”, the term “crushing depth” is used to indicate a level of ocean depth where the density and pressure of water pose a threat to the structural integrity of a particular submarine’s design.

But dense water at “crushing depth” can also help a submarine avoid pursuing torpedoes, helping to confuse the weapon’s onboard sonar used for “acoustic targeting.”

The sound waves emitted as sonar “pings,” in other words, can be slowed, dissipated, or otherwise disrupted when they pass through dense water at these depths.

“It was an old submarine, too,” Rear Admiral Gallaudet said of the risky defensive play, which could have blown up the submarine, killing its crew. “So they weren’t happy doing it and they weren’t comfortable.”

“They really thought it was a Soviet submarine,” he told NewsNation correspondent and veteran investigative reporter Ross Coulthart, “launching an attack on them.”

“And then, of course, this object stopped and went to their stern and followed them,” he continued. — Then he quickly exited the scene.

“Back in the ’80s, we don’t know of any technology that could have done that. What was that?’ as the rear admiral told Coulthart rhetorically. “I can’t explain it either.”

In his appearance on Coulthart’s NewsNation program, Rear Admiral Gallaudet also discussed “an extraordinary story from a chief petty officer on the USS Eisenhower” in which an entire carrier group of several ships witnessed a gigantic UFO .

“On a previous deployment, about 20 years ago, senior leadership, this Chief Petty Officer, witnessed a UAP in the middle of the strike group,” he said.

The retired rear admiral, who spent three years as deputy administrator at the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), also noted that he had begun “a correspondence with Robert Hastings.”

Hastings, the author of a door-stopping book on the subject, titled “UFOs and Nuclear Weapons,” has helped bring many U.S. military witnesses to similar past UFO sightings to the public.

But DM Gallaudet noted that several of the most compelling witness accounts he has heard relate to the classified sensitivities of America’s nuclear submarine fleet.

“I’ve heard there are others,” he said, “but the information and submarine operations are so classified, with non-disclosure agreements signed by everyone on the force, that they’re hard to find and find.”

ContraaDM Gallaudet to speak on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at the UAP hearing hosted by HThe Oversight and Accountability Committee plans to host the hearing on November 13,

According to a committee spokesperson: “The Cyber Subcommittee and the Subcommittee on Homeland Security will hold a joint hearing on UAPs on November 13. Cyber Subcommittee Chairman Nancy Mace (R-SC) and Homeland Security Subcommittee Chairman Glenn Grothman (R-WI) will co-chair the hearing,’
