GLENDALE, AZ (AZ Family) — Glendale police detectives are working to determine what led to a man being found dead in an area near several homes Monday morning.

Details are limited, but officers tell Arizona’s family that the body was found nearby 57th and Peoria avenues around 7:30 a.m. after someone reported a man lying in a grassy area.

The police arrived and determined that the man was deceased. Homicide detectives responded to the scene shortly after, but details about the man, including his name, have not yet been released.

At this time, detectives are working to determine the man’s cause of death. It is unclear if police are looking for a suspect at this time.
