Melania or Ivanka do, but Barron Trump doesn’t have Instagram, X

it is Barron Trump on social media?

Not officially.

But there is immense interest in Donald Trump’s youngest son, and people are gravitating to social media to get a glimpse into his personal life.

Sometimes that look comes from another social media account: After “proud mother” Melania Trump posted on Twitter a The viral picture of her very tall 18-year-old son voting on election day 2024, search engine queries like “how tall is barron trump?” it grew the next day. Although Barron Trump’s photo does not show his face, it is on the official X (formerly known as Twitter) account of Melania Trumpand it’s a rear view of him with very long legs.

Ahead of the release of her self-titled memoir in October 2024, Melania Trump shared “official” photos of her only child on X as she talked about motherhood.

The the only child of Donald and Melania Trump turned 18 on 20 March 2024 and as a minor during his father’s public life in television, business and politics, Barron Trump has in a big way they were kept out of the limelight and media headlines. This included having official social media accounts with the “blue badge”, the symbol signifying celebrity, official or, in some cases, paid status.

That’s different from the Trump family.

Everyone in the Trump family is in the public eye because of:

  • Donald Trump’s Celebrity Status – The billionaire hosted ‘The Apprentice’ and ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ in the 2000s before becoming President of the United States in 2016.
  • Donald Trump’s legal problems — examples include the Stormy Daniels case, his impeachments, or his role in the January 6, 2021 insurrection at the US Capitol.
  • Donald Trump’s third and successful bid for the White House as a Republican challenger against Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 US presidential election

From former President Donald Trump to his third wife (and Barron Trump’s mother) Melania Trumpto his grown children and their significant others – Donald Trump Jr., Ivanka TrumpEric Trump and Tiffany Trump — each has a presence on various social media platforms.

There is no official Barron Trump account on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitch, Discord or YouTube.

X, however, is another story.

Although Barron Trump doesn’t actively post snippets of his life, opinions or photos on social media, that hasn’t stopped former first lady Melania Trump from sharing precious moments about motherhood and more about them social networks. On X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, Melania Trump tweeted several photos of Barron Trump as a little boy, often tagging him @barrontrump.

Various tweets over the years offer a rare look at:

  • Melania Trump, former fashion model who often appeared on “The Apprentice” and “Celebrity Apprentice” alongside Donald Trump, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump
  • Melania Trump, the proud mother and bestselling author
  • Melania Trump, wife of a billionaire reality TV star and future US First Lady (2017-2021)

Many of Melania Trump’s tweets about Barron Trump show the boy playing in the sand at the beach, playing golf on one of his father’s famous golf courses, or just hanging out with his family. From 2012 to 2015, Melania Trump tagged the X account @barrontrump. However, that account on X only follows one account (hers) and has over 24,800 followers as of November 11, 2024. But there is no profile photo, no cover photo, no tweets, and no bio – just social handle and date “@barrontrump” joined the social media platform (August 2012, when he was 6 years old).

Here are some tweets from Melania Trump featuring and/or tagging her son Barron Trump since November 11, 2024:
