How EA FC 25 hackers are destroying the FUT market

The EA FC 25 The market is destroyed by computer players who use cheats to collect coins, making the star players unavailable to those who play by the rules. After speaking with traders and investigating Discord servers, Dexerto’s EA FC expert Nathan Warby discovered more about the underground practice.

If you play EA FC 25 on PC, you may have noticed that the Ultimate Team market is very different from the common PlayStation and Xbox market. Lower ranked fodder players are worth a fraction of their console counterparts, while meta cards they are practically extinct.

For example, Kylian Mbappeespecially the upgraded versions, they can barely be found on PC, even if you search to the maximum coins limit. The reason for this is simple – hackers cheat their way to millions of in-game coins, drastically altering the value of each card in the process.

Discussing the situation, well-known trader “Jake_FutTrading” explained to me that players use tricks to win the best FUT Champions rewards in “less than an hour” on several “hot” accounts. This basically guarantees them about 400,000 coins per account, which they then transfer back to their “main” account.

“This causes MASSIVE inflation on most meta cards in the game, most (costing) a million or more, and lowers the cost of everything else,” Jake added. “It makes having a good team, but an amazing team almost impossible.”

Fellow Ultimate Team trader Charlie “Tropi” also spoke to me explaining exactly how this huge influx of coins to a few accounts is changing prices.

“What we are seeing is essentially an infinite number of coins injected into the market. This is unnatural and as such the market is affected,” he said. “Simply put, there is more supply and coin injected into the market and not enough demand from a smaller player base to keep up.”

The working theory among traders is that cheaters are one of the main causes of this problem, but proving it is another matter. With this in mind, I joined the Discord of a well-known hack distributor to investigate further.

Not only did this uncover explicit mentions of the FUT Champs cheat, where players were using it to collect coins across multiple accounts, but it also gave insight into exactly how they manipulate the game to their advantage.

One of the most common tricks mentioned allowed them to adjust the strengths and weaknesses of certain gameplay elements, known as “sliders”.

“Reduce the shot error to 1. It can increase the shot power to 60ish, but I think no more than that is too obvious,” recommended one hacker – this would make their shots infinitely more accurate.

They added: “I’m trying to find the balance myself to give my opponent normal settings, but I have a clear advantage.”

There were also several mentions of a hack that instantly logged out the opposing player. This means that all they have to do is score a goal to take the lead, then leave their opponent out of the match for a quick and easy win.

This would also explain how they are able to get through so many matches in such a short amount of time, as they can use sliders to turn the match in their favor before ending the game early instead of be forced to play all 20 or so. minutes.

EA FC 25 Hackers Discuss Logouts

Based on other conversations witnessed on this Discord channel, I can confirm that hackers were using these cheats on multiple accounts to repeatedly complete FUT Champions. This appears to be done by creating a brand new account and exploiting EA Play Pro, which gives you access to EA FC 25 at no additional cost.

Then, once all the games have been played and they have earned a huge amount of coins on their Burner account, they will transfer the coins back to their main Ultimate Team account. Although against the mod’s T&Cs, and EA has measures to catch the more obvious cases, this is mostly done by listing a player on their main profile before using one of the burners to buy them well over the odds.

Obviously, the rewards will vary depending on which players are bagged, but I saw one player brag about making two million coins in a single weekend, and it wasn’t the first time.

So, while the smaller player base and other factors might play a role, it’s clear that the EA FC 25 Ultimate Team on PC market is drastically affected by hackers and their exploits.

We’re already seeing this take effect just over a month after EA FC 25 launched, and traders have painted a grim picture if they’re allowed to continue much longer.

“We normally see a less stable market for PC as the player base starts to diminish over the course of the gaming cycle,” said Tropi. “However, it’s pretty clearly going to be a huge mess much sooner if SHE doesn’t quit promptly.”

Jake agreed, “If EA doesn’t stop the hackers, it won’t be possible to quickly build your true ‘Ultimate Team.’ The top cards will be completely unattainable if you are a “casual” player. Your best chance to get them will be to buy coins, but that’s against the Terms and Conditions.”
