HENDERSON, Ken. (WFIE) – Police say a man suspected of armed robbery was found in less than 10 minutes by officers.

According to the Henderson Police Department, 29-year-old Bernard Roberts was arrested in connection to an armed robbery that happened Saturday at a Circle K in the 900 block of Barrett Blvd.

Officers arrived on scene at 4:30 pm

They say a witness who saw a man they later identified as Roberts run into a nearby business after robbing the Circle K clerk at gunpoint.

Officers say they located Roberts at 4:39 pm with a loaded handgun and took him into custody without incident.

Roberts was booked in the Henderson County Detention Center for 1st degree robbery with a bond of $50,000.
