Three boys, a 14-year-old and two 15-year-olds, have been charged with offenses including kidnapping and robbery after a man’s car was stolen in Birmingham.

Police said he was found with leg injuries shortly before 0300 GMT on Saturday at the junction of Gravelly Lane and Mona Road in Erdington.

All three teenagers are charged with kidnapping and robbery, with one of the 15-year-olds additionally charged with dangerous driving and possession of a knife in a public place.

The trio are due to appear at Birmingham Youth Court on Monday, the force added.
