PLAINFIELD, Conn. (WFSB) – A single-vehicle crash occurred early Sunday morning, leaving the driver with minor injuries.

The incident, which happened shortly before 3am on Robin Road, involved a vehicle colliding with a tree.

The Plainfield Fire Department responded to the scene where they found the sole occupant of the vehicle.

Emergency crews worked to assess the situation before transporting the driver to a nearby hospital for further evaluation.

The extent of the driver’s injuries are reported to be minor and no one else was involved in the crash.
