Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) traffic division registered 2,166 cases and imposed fines of Rs 76.28 crore against traffic violators on Thursday (November 7) and yesterday (November 8).

Talebur Rahman, DC (Media) of DMP, shared the information in a press release today (November 9).

In addition, 184 vehicles were impounded and another 94 were towed during raids in various parts of the capital.

The unit will continue to maintain discipline, he said.
