Disney tried twice to turn one of the the best Disneyland attractionsThe Haunted Mansion, in a hit movie. While I would argue that first The Haunted Mansion the movie isn’t that bad as most people think, and most recently The Haunted Mansion the movie is actually very good, it cannot be overlooked that financially both movies were failures. So maybe the solution is to bring the Haunted Mansion to television and more specifically to the world of animation.

I recently had the chance to sit down with director Shannon Tindle and we spent most of the time discussing his new film, Ultraman: Rising (which is excellent). However, I also got to talk to him about a project he’s never done, an animated series based on The Haunted Mansion.
