LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Channel 13 is monitoring a road closure caused by an accident around 5:13 pm Friday.

During the day, a vehicle was reported stolen.

The driver/suspect of the stolen vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed on Pecos when he struck another vehicle at the intersection of Flamingo.

Four cars were involved in the accident.

The suspect fled on foot after police arrived.

One victim was transported to a local hospital and pronounced dead.

A second victim is in serious condition.

Four other people involved in the accident are being evaluated in hospital.

All lanes are currently closed.
