HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) – The weekend is here and with the weather still milder than usual, there are good times to spend outdoors. But it’s a real 50-50 weekend ahead weather-wise.

The beautiful day of the weekend will come on Saturday before a front of wet weather from the American heartland arrives to rain on Sunday.

The interaction between a Great Plains vortex and a hurricane over the Gulf of Mexico is worth exploring in the weekend edition of Weather Extra.
