Three arrested in Roxbury fire investigation

Boston, MA – On Wednesday at approximately 11:10 p.m., officers from District B-2 (Roxbury) responded to a report of a fire in the vicinity of 170 Morton Street. The response led to the arrest of three people: Jasen Levoy, 33, Thomas Mullikas, 24, and Augusto Bussio, 25, all of Roxbury.

Earlier, around 10:30 p.m., a Boston police sergeant detected a fire near Franklin Park, near Shattuck Hospital. The sergeant alerted the Fire Department and later observed a second fire, prompting a request for additional support to determine if the fires were intentional.

Multiple officers arrived on the scene, along with personnel from the Boston Police Drone Unit and the Boston Fire Department. A drone was deployed over Franklin Park and three people were seen on the golf course near the fire sites. These individuals appeared to throw objects at the drone before fleeing toward Jewish War Veterans Drive.

The trio was intercepted by officers on Jewish War Veterans Drive. They were identified as Jasen Levoy, Augusto Bussio and Thomas Mullikas and were later taken into custody.
