SUMMERVILLE, SC (WCSC) – The Summerville Police Department has arrested a man following Wednesday’s shooting that left two people injured.

Rydell Lemar Holmes, 17, is charged with two counts of attempted murder, two counts of possession of a weapon during the commission of a crime of violence and unlawful possession of a handgun, according to Cpt. Chris Hirsch.

Officers responded Wednesday at approximately 9:30 p.m. to a report of shots fired at the Creekside Mobile Home park off Bacon’s Bridge Road.

They determined upon arrival that the two victims had arrived at the CVS Pharmacy on Dorchester Road.

While locating the scene, they found several shell casings on the roadway.

Both victims were transported to a local hospital where both are currently in stable condition.

Holmes is charged as an adult.

Hw was transported to the Dorchester County Detention Center and is awaiting a bond hearing.
