Aubrey Plaza isn’t afraid to make some noise.

Always one to keep the fashion industry on edge, the “White Lotus” star, 40, rocked a sheer Gucci dress at Dead Funny: An All-Star Tribute to Joan Rivers, an event that benefited God’s love we offerthursday evening

Marking the tenth anniversary of the late “Fashion Police” star’s death, the event featured comical tributes to Rivers and her decades-long career.

Plaza’s dress featured lace straps, velvet cups and crystal embellishments throughout the bodice and sheer skirt. She finished the look with hot high-waisted trousers, shoes and Boucheron jewelry and wore her hair in a wavy shoulder-length bob.

Almost halfway through the show, Plaza took the stage for a rebuttal to some of the “Fashion Police” star’s more politically incorrect jokes, suggesting she should be buried with the iconic comedian.

Rivers certainly had something to say about Plaza’s look for the night — and that of the other comics who honored her at the event.

Nikki Glaser opted for a Rebecca Vallance LBD accented with gold chains, Michelle Buteau opted for a bold blue dress, and Chelsea Handler looked elegant in an off-the-shoulder brown midi. Meanwhile, Rachel Brosnahan made a stunning impression in a Raisa Vanessa mini with a floral skirt and Tiffany Haddish brought the house down in a green Tove maxi.

Plaza has a track record of wearing unexpected numbers made to show on the red carpet.

For the 2024 Emmy Awards in January, the A-lister dropped jaws in a butter yellow Loewe number that featured a giant pin over an envelope-like bodice.

Vanguard looks fast it sparked memes as compared to Post-It notes, a slice of cheese and more.

The ‘Agatha All Along’ star’s dress for the 2023 SAG Awards also caused a stirthanks to the ab-baring cutout of the Michael Kors sequined dress.

She even had a burnout viral moment on stage, although he later shook it off for the moment in playful behind-the-scenes snaps.

And, Plaza’s stylist took to Instagram to defend the dress only there, appeasing the fans that revealing look was definitely intentional.
