Another clash over a small dispute at the civil hospital

Ludhiana: Another incident of violence was reported from the civil hospital where some men allegedly attacked a youth with shoes. They also slapped him in the emergency room Wednesday night. The incident took place around 11.30 pm when 10 to 12 people allegedly attacked a person who came to receive injuries sustained during a clash in Haibowal, treated.
According to reports, ASI, policemen and security guards posted in the emergency ward of the hospital tried to mediate, but the attackers did not relent. The accused claimed that the man attacked their family members and injured six people, including three women, after which he went to the hospital for medical treatment.
Lalit Mohan, a resident of Haibowal Bank Colony, said that on Wednesday evening, his son was parking his car in front of the house when a flower pot on a neighbor’s windowsill fell. He alleged that the woman who lives in the house abused him and family members attached him when he went to talk to her after work at around 10pm.
He claimed that when he went to the emergency ward of the civil hospital at 11.30 pm for treatment, he was attacked by members of the other party who were already present in the ward. In the intervening night of November 2 and 3, two such incidents were reported at the civil hospital. In the first case, ASI Munir Masih was allegedly punched by a man after he asked them to wait outside due to the emergency rush. In the other case, two friends had an argument after allegedly getting drunk on Haibowal Jassiyan road. They came to the hospital, where they fought again.
