The National Weather Service confirms 3 tornadoes since Monday’s storms

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – The National Weather Service has confirmed three more tornadoes since Monday’s storms in the Ozarks.

A tornado hit an area near Wasola in Ozark County. The EF-0 tornado hit around 6:30 p.m. It had winds of 74 miles per hour, stretching the length of a football field.

The second tornado hit an area near Vanzant in Douglas County. The EF-0 tornado hit around 6:45 p.m. It had winds of 74 miles per hour and only lasted the length of a football field.

The third tornado hit an area south of Mountain Grove in Wright County. The EF-0 storm hit around 7:00 p.m. It had winds of 74 miles per hour and was only the length of a football field.
