WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) – Clouds are rolling in tonight and Thursday as our next storm system heads our way. Rain chances begin Thursday afternoon, with heavy rain Thursday night and Friday! Rainfall amounts will vary, but widespread amounts of 1 to 3 inches are likely, with some places, particularly in the west, seeing rainfall amounts of up to and possibly more than 5 inches. Showers and storms should be gone by Friday night, hopefully in time for the games. Otherwise, expect clouds to clear later tomorrow night and spectacular weather for the weekend. Lows tomorrow night and into the weekend will mainly be in the 40s with highs in the 70s! We will continue with mild weather until early next week. The next storm system that can bring us at least a chance of rain is around Wednesday.
