CADDO PARISH, La. (KSLA) — The Caddo Coroner’s Office has released the name of the other driver killed in a fiery collision early September 27 on US Highway 71 in north Caddo Parish.

He is Tristan McDay, 34, of Sibley.

McDay died when his vehicle collided head-on with another vehicle and burst into flames just before 7 a.m. that morning in the 13800 block of U.S. Highway 71, south of Interstate 49.

Caddo Sheriff’s deputies said a small sedan was headed north on Hwy. 71 when it crossed the center line and struck another vehicle traveling in the opposite direction.

McDay’s identity was confirmed through forensic DNA testing by the North Louisiana Crime Laboratory.

Also killed in the wreck was Gavin Green, 31, of Willow Lane in Hosston.
