UPDATE: Police are making further arrests in alleged hate crimes in Salisbury

Arrests for hate crimes

SALISBURY, Md. – Police in Salisbury have arrested five more people stemming from a reported hate crime investigation.

Earlier this week, police announced the arrest of seven Salisbury University students in connection with the incident, which happened in mid-October.

On Thursday, Salisbury police identified five more suspects as being involved in the alleged incident:

  • Cameron Guy, 18 years old
  • Jacob Howard, 19 years old
  • Eric Sinclair, 21 years old
  • Patrick Gutierrez, 19 years old
  • Dylan Pietuszka, 20 years old

Those individuals were each charged with first-degree assault, false imprisonment, reckless endangerment and related hate crime charges.

This investigation is ongoing and Salisbury Police are asking anyone with additional information to call them at 410-548-3165.
