JiDion shuts down streamers who claim that streaming is harder than actually working

After several creators claimed that streaming is harder than actually working, JiDion stepped in to shut down those claims.

Over the years, many Twitch streamers have shared their thoughts on streaming versus having a real job, with some saying that creating content full-time is more difficult than working a traditional 9-5.

Hasan political streamer he said it in Februarywhile OTK co-founder Asmongold she quickly agreed with him. FaZe clan members MAX and Of lace revived the conversation months later, drawing backlash from viewers in the process.

The creators believe that the pressure of always entertaining people, traveling and other aspects of streaming outweigh the stress of working a regular job.

On Thursday, Nov. 7, YouTuber JiDion completely dropped those claims, saying that working a 9-5 is harder than streaming full-time.

“It’s harder to work a 9-5. Not ifs ands or buts. When you don’t know if you’ll have enough to put food on the table that outweighs the stress a multimillionaire streamer goes through. Sure some aspects are more difficult, but anyone who would rather be in our position, none of us ever go back willingly,” he said in the post.

Users flocked to replies to his post to share their thoughts, with many agreeing with his statement.

“This shouldn’t even be a conversation,” one user commented.

Another said: “Being a streamer would be stressful, but it’s really up to you how much it stresses you out.”

“Telling the truth as always, some people feel justified after doing it,” replied a third.

JiDion isn’t the first major creator to speak out against claims that streaming is harder than real work. In March, Pokimane weighed in during a stream.

“Streaming is definitely not the hardest job you can have, by far. I don’t think streaming is hard work. I just want to make that very clear,” she said.
