HUEYTOWN, Ala. (WBRC) – A 25-year-old man was killed and a 66-year-old woman was seriously injured in a crash in Hueytown on Nov. 6

Hueytown Police and Fire responded to the 100 block of Brooklane Drive just before 8 p.m.

The man who died has been identified as Neil Damian Sayers.

Police say Sayers was traveling southbound on Brooklane Drive when he crossed lanes and struck a vehicle driven by a woman heading northbound head-on.

Sayers died at the scene. The woman was transported to UAB Hospital with serious injuries.

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office and the Hueytown Police Department are investigating the crash.
