Suspect on the loose after 3 random home invasions in Duluth

UPDATE 11/7 (10:38 a.m.): Duluth police are investigating a third burglary in the city in the past three days. According to authorities, a white male entered a home in the 2500 block of East 2nd Street around 9:00 pm on November 6th. The resident of the home fled the scene but fell during the escape, suffering non-life threatening injuries. The suspect remains at large.

ORIGINAL 11/6: The Duluth Police Department is investigating two random home invasions within two days.

The first happened Nov. 4 in the 200 block of West Kent Road. The second happened on Nov. 5 in the area of ​​1500 Vermilion Road. Authorities said both occurred between 6 and 8 p.m

Police said that based on initial investigations, the suspect is described as a white male who entered both residences and threatened those inside.

In all, three victims inside the homes were hospitalized for non-life threatening injuries. Police Chief Mike Ceynowa could not say what type of injuries or how they occurred.

The suspect was at large as of Wednesday evening.

Neighbors are encouraged to check their doorbell cameras and other surveillance video to see if anyone suspicious has been captured.
