The Cincinnati Bengals the offense finally seems to be clicking, but the team is still having trouble getting into the W column.

They just beat him up Las Vegas Raiders41-24 on Sunday, but were beaten by the Philadelphia Eagles the week before and squeaked by the lowly Cleveland Browns and New York Giants.

Sure, there are three wins in their last four games, but all three of those wins have come against teams that have combined for six wins.

That’s why the former Bengals star TJ Houshmandzadeh he’s not ready to start celebrating yet.

“I don’t know if it’s exciting — we’ve been teams that aren’t going to make the playoffs,” the former Bengal said in a recent interview with Fox News Digital.

Cincy faces its division rival in the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday — losing to them, 41-38, earlier this season — but Houshmandzadeh will be ahead if the Bengals can split the season series.

“That emotion will be a genuine emotion on Friday if we beat the Ravens. To me, that’s the biggest key. You’ve got to beat the better teams,” Houshmandzadeh said. “You have to beat teams that people don’t expect you to beat. You made yourself a hole, now you have to get out of it. The Ravens are one of those teams that you see the first time you walk out of it. this hole. That excitement isn’t there yet until we start beating teams that we think are good teams.”

Still, fans were delighted.

Houshmandzadeh joined the Bengals faithful at a recent tailgate as part of his new partnership with the Tide, where he recklessly downed some Skyline Chili with no repercussions.

“Obviously, you’re going to drink, eat, play. I got my sweater stained – Skyline Chili all over the sweater – and I was disappointed. But then I said, “Tide will clean this better than ever. ‘ So I was fine, I knew Tide tackled the toughest spots, so I was fine,” Houshmandzadeh said.

“Being there with the fans was a good experience. I hadn’t done it before. It was fun. Nobody does a game day like Cincinnati. I’m biased, but it was awesome, I had fun and I can’t wait to do it again.”

And for what it’s worth, Houshmandzadeh is confident the Bengals will pull out the win on the road.

“I’m confident, but I don’t know if I’m saying it with my heart or my head,” he said. “You look at the first game, up 10 with less than four minutes left, you’ve got to win that game. … If they get the same offense and just a little bit more defense, obviously we’d win.”
