Former Raider who killed Las Vegas woman, dog in fiery crash moved to transitional housing

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The former Las Vegas Raiders player convicted of killing a Valley woman and her dog in a hit-and-run accident has moved into transitional housing.

Henry Ruggs, aged 25, formerly worked at the governor’s mansion as part of his DUI sentence. He has now moved to the transitional Casa Grande, according to Nevada Department of Corrections records.

On August 9, 2023, the NFL tight end was sentenced to a minimum of three years and a maximum of ten years in state prison after agreeing to plead guilty to a pair of charges.

The former wide receiver was reportedly driving 156 mph with a blood alcohol level twice the legal limit when his Chevrolet Corvette struck and killed Tina Tintor in her Toyota RAV4 on the morning of November 2, 2021 .
