TEXAS (KAUZ) – The Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) has announced that it is accepting presentation proposals for workshops and educational sessions at the 2025 Texas Emergency Management Conference.

TDEM said the conference will return to the Fort Worth Convention Center from May 27 to May 30, 2025.

A committee will consider proposals for workshops that address the vast demands of the Lone Star State’s emergency management landscape. TDEM said workshop proposals will be selected based on the following criteria:

• Subject matter expertise
• Relevance to emergency management in Texas
• Advances at least one of the key phases of emergency management through innovation or technology
• Promote research strategies and ideas that inform emergency managers
• Ability to involve and involve the audience
• The benefit of information to audience members

Proposals must be submitted Here no later than December 6, 2024. The final selection of proposals will be made by March 2025.
