    Actor James Woods celebrates Trump’s election victory on X. What he said

    Rhode Island actor James Woods said America awoke to “a bright morning of hope, joy and record scholarship,” celebrating President-elect Donald Trump return to the White House.

    A conservative and Trump defender, Woods, of “Casino” and “Hercules”, exulted at the news on X, formerly known as Twitter, sharing several posts celebrating Trump’s victory. Woods had Trump claimed.

    “In historic affirmation of how badly America needed Donald Trump back in the White House, Dow opens +1,300 points,” Woods said. “May God bless America and protect President Trump!”

    In his comments, Woods painted Trump as someone who defied all odds, including impeachment and assassination attempts, to regain the presidency.

    Woods also spent his last night on X condemning the presidential candidate Vice President Kamala Harris for being a poor sport and not congratulating Trump’s victory.

    “The only safe bet tonight was that Harris would be a sore loser, too petty to congratulate America’s new president-elect in a time-honored tradition. What low class work she is,” he wrote for X.

    Harris is scheduled to give a concession speech on Wednesday.
