The rest of the day brings a mix of clouds and sun with highs near 50 degrees and west winds at 5-10 mph.

Tuesday’s rain in the Twin Cities averaged about .25″ to .40″, which may not have made for a pleasant day outside, but it really helped recharge the soil from the dry conditions of September and October. The next widespread rainfall will reach the Twin Cities and surrounding areas Saturday night into Sunday morning.

Dense patchy fog this morning in the Twin Cities, especially areas of Minneapolis and points west to the South Dakota border. THICK FOG ADVISORY UNTIL 10:00 AM for the Twin Cities of Anoka, Hennepin, Carver and Scott counties and all counties west to the South Dakota border. The rest of the day brings a mix of clouds and sun today, with highs near 50 degrees and west winds 5 to 10 mph. Partly cloudy tonight with patchy fog and light winds, with lows in the mid 30s.

Thursday will begin with patchy fog, otherwise mostly sunny, with highs in the low 50s and west winds 5 to 15 mph. Clear skies Thursday night with southwest winds 5 to 10 mph and lows in the 30s by Friday morning.

Friday will be nice with sunny skies and highs in the mid 50s with south winds 5 to 10 mph, then partly cloudy Friday night with lows near 40 degrees by Saturday morning.

Saturday will start sunny, then become cloudy during the afternoon with windy and rainy conditions developing after 6:00 PM Saturday Highs in the mid 50s and lows near 40 degrees by Sunday morning likely of rain.

Rain is likely Sunday morning and will finally end in the early afternoon with clear skies and highs in the low 50s.
