Kiernan Shipka woke up with a ‘massive hump on her nose’ after a ‘big Christmas accident’.

The 24-year-old actress – who stars alongside JK Simmons and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson in festive new film ‘Red One’ – recalled a rough night out with friends which led to a mysterious injury.

She told PEOPLE magazine: “I drank so much with my friends one night and I woke up the next day and I had — I’m telling you — a massive hump on my nose.

“My nose literally popped out a little and then back in.”

Even now, the “Twisters” star doesn’t actually know how the injury happened, but “it lasted a few weeks.”

She said: “I don’t know if I fell. It is not clear how it happened. It lasted for several weeks. It was a big Christmas injury.”

She joked, “You know, we live, we learn, we have fun.”

In addition to “Twisters” and the upcoming film “Red One,” her other critical credits include the likes of “Longlegs,” “Mad Men,” Riverdale” and “The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.”

Earlier this year, Kiernan paid an emotional tribute to her late ‘Sabrina’ co-star Chance Pernamo after he died in a motorcycle accident on March 29 aged just 27.

She wrote on Instagram at the time: “Oh man this hurts.

“He was a unique soul. Just the most passionate, creative, loving, connected and caring force you can imagine…

“As playful, as kind, as loving, as hilarious. He never failed to make me laugh and never failed to keep me on my toes (or away from them if he gave me a ride in my trailer which he did many times. Thanks for the chance.)

“His humanity was a bountiful gift to me and to so many people. It’s very hard to imagine this world without him in it.

“I loved him with all my heart. I always will.”
