Sami Zayn gives a hilarious backstory to a classic bloodline family photo

Sami Zayn tried to join and then eventually joined, Bloodline was only going to be a limited time storyline. However, Zayn’s inclusion took off so quickly and became so popular that he became an integral part of the story.

Zayn has become a fan favorite, making every member of the group laugh on live TV, as well as giving us timeless lines like ‘Honorary Uce’ and ‘Feeling Ucey’.

With the return of the OG bloodline, a discussion began regarding Zayn’s status as “family” to Roman Reigns and Usos. As with all pro wrestling news, Meme World has once again taken control and brought us exceptional creations based on this new chapter in the story.

One of these memes was in front of Zayn, and it gives us all some context we didn’t know we needed.

Zayn posted a photo, which originally circulated during the original Bloodline/Zayn run in 2022 and 2023, on his social media accounts with a back story.

“I remember that day well. It was a Friday. I went out that night and I remember it clearly because I was listening to DMX on the way to the club and it was the first time I’d ever heard someone say a song was “tight”. Great times, but sadly those days are gone.”

Zayn didn’t clarify which DMX song it’s about, but based on the clothing styles in the photo, it’s possible the song is from either 2001’s “The Great Depression” or 2003’s “Grand Champ.” However, it is highly likely that the record was X’s 1998 song “Ruff Ryders Anthem”.

Zayn appeared at the end of the six-man match that pitted Reigns and The Usos against Solo SIkoa, Tama Tonga and Jacob Fatu. OG Bloodline surrounded Solo, but it led to Zayn inadvertently delivering a Helluva Kick to Reigns. Time will tell if the OG Bloodline can find common ground to defeat Solo’s new regime.
