Temperatures look set to remain slightly above average this coming weekend.

Tropic Chase: Hurricane season is about to wake up again

Tropic Chase: Hurricane season is about to wake up again

In the tropics, subtropical storm Patty is in the North Atlantic and will affect the Azores. A broad area of low pressure over the southwestern Caribbean has a good chance of developing and will likely become our next named system. The next name on Atlantic’s list is Rafael. Meanwhile, an area of disorganized showers and storms lies just north of Puerto Rico and Hispaniola. This area has very little chance of development.
