Four alleged drug peddlers were arrested in separate incidents and over 21 grams of heroin recovered from their possession in Jammu and Kashmir’s Udhampur district on Saturday, police said.

A Srinagar-bound taxi was intercepted at Chenani for checking, which led to the recovery of 17 grams of heroin, a police spokesman said.

He said all three people traveling in the vehicle were taken into custody.

Another street drug dealer was arrested after 4.38 grams of heroin was recovered during a search of his possession at Roundmail on Baredian Link Road, he said.
