Man, woman face charges after being removed from home in Davenport

DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) – A man and a woman are facing charges after a standoff at a home in Davenport Friday night.

Travis Grubbs, 40, and Tabatha Grubbs, 41, are charged with tampering with official records, according to court records. Travis Grubbs is also charged with second-degree burglary.

Travis Grubbs faces theft charges in small claims court for nonpayment of rent, according to court documents. Travis Grubbs will have a hearing on November 5th.

The confrontation happened in the 5400 block of Ricker Hill Road in Davenport Friday night.

TV6 at the scene could see and hear police trying to get Travis Grubbs to leave the home. After Travis Grubbs did not comply, police entered the residence.

At approximately 5:55 p.m., Travis Grubbs was removed from the home by Davenport police, TV6 could see at the scene.

At approximately 6 p.m., TV6 at the scene could see Tabatha Grubbs being removed from the home.
