The Dallas Cowboys defense will be lacking again when they take the field in Week 9 against him Atlanta Falcons at the Mercecdes-Benz stadium.

All-Pro tight end Micah Parsons, who has been sidelined since a Week 4 win over the rival New York Giants with a high ankle sprain, has been officially ruled out, along with All-Pro cornerback DaRon Bland, who has been activated. off injured reserve this week.

A third linebacker, defensive lineman Jordan Phillips, was also ruled out with a lingering wrist injury.

Four running backs are listed as questionable, along with future Hall of Fame offensive lineman Zack Martin. All-Pro cornerback Trevon Diggs is among the players listed as questionable for Sunday’s game because of a torn calf.

Other players discussed include starting quarterback Eric Kendricks (shoulder), defensive tackle Linval Joseph (foot) and linebacker Nick Vigil.

On the plus side, rookie cornerback Caelen Carson has been cleared to return.

It will be interesting to see how Dallas fares against Atlanta this weekend with injury continuing to plague the roster, but all Cowboys Nation can do now is hope for the best.
