New case details

Twin Lakes police spoke with a 13-year-old boy and his parents on Oct. 10 — the day Crocker was formally charged. According to an amended criminal complaint, the victim said she told a school staff member that Crocker sent her inappropriate messages, including several videos of her having sex.

The victim said he initially thought it was a “training video” when he opened it and didn’t respond, according to the complaint, saying he was “too young for that.” The victim also said she was scared because she heard that Crocker had “raped” another minor.

A search of Crocker’s cell phone turned up several videos of what looked like the videos the victim described, according to prosecutors. It also revealed that Crocker added the victim on Snapchat in September and they exchanged more than 200 messages, photos and videos in a matter of days.

Court filings note that a search of Crocker’s Snapchat data also turned up a conversation between her and a 16-year-old boy that she added to the platform on Oct. 9 — the day before she was taken into custody.

The messages show that she asked the victim if she wanted to have sex with her. She tried to make plans for the boy to come to her house on October 11 to have sex; she would eventually be in custody on that date. The victim told investigators that they had talked about having sex, but that it didn’t “go all the way.” He also said she sent him pictures “in which the gender was ‘inferred'”.

The details of the previous case

The alleged crimes involved a current student and a former student at the school, according to the sheriff’s department.

Prosecutors said the alleged sexual assault happened last winter. The 13-year-old victim said he was at Crocker’s house for a slumber party and was sleeping in the basement when Crocker woke him up, took off his pants and sexually assaulted him. He said Crocker tried to hide but the other children “saw what happened”.

The victim said what took place was not consensual, according to the complaint, and he repeatedly told her to get off and tried to push her away, but she wouldn’t listen. He was 12 years old then.

Months later, the complaint states, the victim said she received a text from Crocker telling her to apologize “for what happened in the basement.” He described her as “trying to make him feel guilty”. She told him she couldn’t tell anyone what happened, he said.

Prosecutors said a 14-year-old boy also reported that Crocker “was inappropriate with him” and that the two exchanged “sexual conversations and images” via Snapchat. He also said Crocker sexually assaulted him in a parking lot in August.

In an interview with a detective, the complaint states Crocker admitted to receiving a sex video from the 14-year-old victim and saving it. She also admitted to sending the video to a student at that victim’s school. The detective seized and searched the phone, which included the video in a password-protected section of the phone.
